a brave face on the defence of Cuban Communism.
Baroness Lindsey Northover seemed largely
persuaded by her brief sojourn there, travelling with a group of doctors. The audience, softened up with liberal
quantities of mojitos, still
managed to pose some stiff questions at the First Secretary. LIBG President-elect Tim Garden asked what
preparations the Cuban Government and people are making for a post-Castro
Cuba. The answer was not revealing!
