LIBG
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
House of Lords
7th
July, 2004
The 2004 LIBG AGM took place in
Committee Room 4, House of Lords.
Retiring LIBG President Lord Alderdice and LIBG President-elect Lord
Garden spoke the continuing success of liberal politics around the world. Robert Woodthorpe-Browne gave his last report
as he is to stand down as LIBG Chair after 3 years in the role (the report is
available in the download section of this website). Between divisions, Lords Alderdice and Garden
answered questions from members.
Members made a number of suggestions regarding forthcoming LIBG events
which the LIBG Executive will discuss at its next meeting. The evening finished with a well attended and
topical Spanish themed dinner at the National Liberal Club.
